Tiger Woods sustained multiple leg injuries after a single-car accident in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on the morning of Tuesday, February 23, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

LA County Fire Chief Daryl Osby said crews used a Halligan tool and an axe to extricate Woods from the vehicle before he was transported to Harbor UCLA Hospital for treatment.

This footage, shot by Sara Dhillon, shows Woods’s mangled car with the PGA Tour Genesis Invitational logo still visible on the driver side door.

Woods was in California for a two-day media shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV at Rolling Hills Country Club after serving as host for the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles over the weekend. “He was in good spirits on Monday but did not arrive to the course for the second day of shooting,” Golf Digest reported.
