- Well, we just know from the sheriff's office that it is, you know, a rollover accident. About a little after 7 o'clock this morning, Rancho Palos Verdes area near the Pacific, about 20 miles south of L.A. And Tiger was taken to the hospital, going through surgery right now, described in serious condition.

That's really all of the details we have right now. It's the third time we've gotten a report like this over his career. The most notorious, obviously, was back on the night of Thanksgiving when he ran into the fire hydrant with his SUV. And that led to a lot of revelations about his personal life.

I mean, that was one of the more shocking incidents in the world of sports period. You know, there was another one back around Memorial Day of 2017. It was a DUI arrest, but it turned out to be an indication of how much pain medication this guy was on with back problems. But, again, you start hearing these things right away and your mind wonders.

I think in this case here, when the first word you get is a rollover down a hill in L.A. where you know he is doing some wrap up work from the Genesis Invitational, you just wonder how bad it is and what we'll see from Tiger going forward. I mean, you can't get away from the fact that he's-- look, he's not going to be around playing golf forever. He's 45 years old. He's gone through a number of surgeries. But I think the first thought you come to on this is is the end of a career coming at us faster than we realized.
