After losing at Arkansas on Friday to end the regular season, Missouri football's roster is getting less congested, with several players opting to leave the team via the transfer portal.

Four Tigers entered the transfer portal Monday, the program confirmed.

Tight ends Daniel Parker Jr. and Messiah Swinson entered the portal, as did defensive backs Chris Shearin and Ish Burdine.

Parker spent four seasons with the Tigers, totaling 41 career receptions for 337 yards and four touchdowns, three of which came in 2021.

Against Florida on Nov. 20, Parker caught the game-winning two-point conversion to clinch Missouri's sixth victory of the season, securing a bowl bid.

Parker was the team's longest-tenured tight end, coming to the Tigers from Blue Springs as a four-star prospect in the 2018 class.

Swinson played in all 12 games of the 2021 season. He caught five passes for 46 yards and will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next school.

Shearin played in 18 games during the 2019 and 2021 seasons for Missouri, finishing his Tiger career with four tackles. He was the only player to opt out of the 2020 season who returned to MU.

Burdine saw his role increase at the end of last season and the beginning of 2021. He missed the last half of this season with an undisclosed injury. Burdine should have three years of eligibility remaining.
