TikTok star Randy Gonzalez — a member of father-son duo Enkyboys — has died from colon cancer.
He was 35.
According to TMZ, Gonzalez died in hospice Wednesday morning in Texas.
Gonzalez announced his diagnosis back in April 2022 and said he had started treatment six months prior. He said chemotherapy could give him another five years to live.
“I kept it to myself, and I felt like it was selfish, because I didn’t want to tell everybody my business because it was personal. But I feel like I can use my situation to give awareness for young men like myself,” he said at the time.
Gonzalez and son Brice continued posting on the social media platform, documenting his condition for their 15 million followers, including saying he experienced pain before his diagnosis and his wife suggested he get a colonoscopy.
Their videos led to Brice being cast on the NBC sitcom “Lopez vs Lopez.” He will also appear in “Flamin’ Hot,” a film about the creation of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
Gonzalez is survived by his wife Kimberly, and their children Aubree, Brice, and Lauren.
