Perfume is a pretty personal choice. However, the cult-favorite Glossier You perfume is a best-seller for a reason. The scent first blew up up on TikTok last year because, as the product description says, "it smells a bit different on everyone." It's so popular, the brand shared that one You Eau De Parfum is sold every 40 seconds globally.
You could categorize Glossier You as a "skin scent." These types of fragrances are meant to smell a little musky, warm and familiar — like your own skin, but better. They're kind of like the color-changing lip balms from Dior or Winky Lux that combine with your lips’ natural pH levels to create a unique, natural-looking shade just for you. Like a no-makeup makeup look, the point is to elevate what you're already working with.

However, don't be confused — Glossier You still has a smell. It features top notes of bright and spicy pink pepper, middle notes of woodsy and musky ambrette seeds and is rounded out with the fresh smell of iris.
Once you apply it and wear it for a little while, you may notice the scent slightly change, though. TikToker @milliecroker1 tried it and explained the experience in a video that quickly gained over 133,000 views. "When you spray it first, it smells fresh, and the more it sits, the more like musky it gets," she said after calling it "beautiful" and "worth the hype." In a follow-up video, she shared the compliments she got from some of her guy friends.
Nonetheless, Croker isn't the only person to review this perfume. It first went viral last June when @bitcoin_papi shared in a now-viral video that a man chased her down the street to ask her what perfume she was wearing. "I'm not even kidding, I've worn it so many times, and it will make everyone you pass attracted to you," she said.
The solid perfume comes in a refillable container.
If you've been looking for a new signature scent that is truly the epitome of "you," this may be it. Glossier You comes in a pretty perfume spray bottle as well as a solid form, retailing for $68 and $30, respectively. The solid is especially great for travel, but just a heads up — some reviewers say the spray is stronger and lasts longer.
