A TikTok user has gone viral for editing himself into “Everything Everywhere All at Once” to propose to his partner in a cinema.

On Sunday, Daniel Le (@danyo_le) posted a video on TikTok documenting his proposal to his girlfriend Annie.

“Theater proposals been done before but hopefully not an EEAAOO [“Everything Everywhere All at Once”] version LOL,” Le wrote in his post’s caption.

The first part of his video, which is 2 minutes and 45 seconds long in total, shows him explaining a bit of his process before he proposed.

He shares that he rented out a movie theater room, edited a movie ticket and made Annie think she would be rewatching “Everything Everywhere All at Once” with him. He also “edited a fake video with trailers in the beginning,” as seen in his video’s onscreen text.

While they watch in the cinema, Annie can be heard asking, “Why’s the quality so bad?” before Le appears a few minutes later beside Evelyn Wang, portrayed by Michelle Yeoh.

“What’s my line again?” he asks an imaginary director offscreen.

The “film” then shows different scenes from “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” such as the one where Evelyn, her husband Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) and her father Gong Gong (James Hong) talk about taxes with Deirdre Beaubeirdre (Jamie Lee Curtis). Annie can be heard bursting into laughter once she sees Le, who has dressed up as Curtis’ character, appear onscreen.

Le's video ends with him talking about his love for Annie while different clips of her with her friends and family play. After all the lights in the room are turned on, Annie realizes that the audience members around her are actually her friends and family members.

Le gets down on one knee and asks Annie if she will marry him, to which she replies, "Of course, yes!"

Several TikTok users have commented on Le’s sweet video, which has already garnered over 1.4 million views and more than 380,000 likes.

"You setting the bar too high, I feel like a profound gentleman for getting a large popcorn," one TikTok user wrote.

"THIS IS ... LITERALLY ... EVERYTHING!!!!” another user declared, while another said, “Everyone send this to the cast of eeaaoo [‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’] NOW!!!”

“He found his person to do laundry and taxes with,” another wrote.

On Sunday, Le also posted a video on TikTok explaining how he planned his proposal.

The clip, which is almost three minutes long, shows how Le found the perfect cinema, edited himself into the Daniels' Oscar-winning film and found ways for Annie’s family and friends to help him out with the proposal.

The behind-the-scenes video also shows a snippet of what Le said as he proposed. He can notably be heard saying, “As long as I get to do laundry and taxes with you” before asking, “Will you marry me?”
