YUMNA JAWAD: TikTok was known for, like, dancing and funny stuff and singing. And I can't sing, I can't dance, and I'm not that funny. So I was like, let me just cook. Now I have over 2 and 1/2 million followers on Instagram, close to a million on TikTok. When there is a trend, there's a little bit of a buzz about something, I love to just take it and give my own spin on it.

I'm the TikToker behind the latest viral big feta pasta. And today, I'm going to share with you a new recipe that's just going to blow your mind. It's cloud eggs in a mug.

I actually didn't have any training in cooking. My mom always cooked growing up. So when I got married, I decided I really want to bring in those home-cooked meals to my family, to my kids. I started literally asking my mom question after question. Then with Instagram coming up in, like, 2010, I thought, this would be kind of fun to share my journey through Instagram. My mom, she's my inspiration for everything I've done. So she's also now my biggest fan.

I really love this recipe because as a family in the pandemic, we're eating at home so much more often. And so this feels like just, like, a fancy little treat on a weekend. We're going to start by separating the egg whites from the egg yolk.

My first tip, as we get started, is to start with cold eggs. It makes it easier to separate the whites from the yolk. So we're going to crack it, and then we'll put the whites in here. And then just keep the yolk and the shell in a separate bowl.

So next thing, whisking the egg whites-- it helps a lot if you can wait for them to come to room temperature. Because the warmer they are, the more easily they're going to whip up into [INAUDIBLE] egg whites. What we're looking for is stiff peaks that kind of stay right on the whisk like that. That little 2 tablespoons of egg whites just became a beautiful, little cloud.

Now what we want to do is we want to microwave the egg whites alone.

So at this point, it almost looks like a latte. You can see how much it ballooned up. While it's nice and warm, just take the egg yolk and drop it right in the middle. So now I'm going to pop this back in the microwave for 20 more seconds.

So this is what it's looking like. You're ready to eat this thing. You could just slide it right into a piece of toast, add some avocado. Adding the avocado to it just makes you feel, like, extra.

We're going to give it a little taste test. Mm. It's phenomenal. So fun, so easy. What we are is influencers. It may seem frivolous to some people, but I think it's really powerful to those who find our tricks and our interactions and education really helpful. And I just have such a blast doing it.
