IRVINE, CA — TILLYS raised nearly $200,000 and donated one hundred percent of its proceeds to Tilly’s Life Center at its 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament ‘Till and Ed’s Excellent Golf Adventure.’ This over-the-top golf experience, held at the Aliso Viejo Country Club, was a fun-filled day and a wild success.
Despite the rigorous covid-safety protocols in place, the scramble format golf tournament retained its excitement, featuring former NFL stars, extreme sports athletes, and major companies in attendance such as Converse, Nike, Primitive, HUF, Ripcurl, LRG, Union Bank, Goldman Sachs, CSI Electrical Contractors, Well Fargo, Marsh & McLennan, Seyfarth Shaw, and The Sheckler Foundation.
The funds raised from the golf tournament will be utilized towards expanding Tilly’s Life Center’s (TLC) mission to inspire today’s youth to reach their full potential as productive, kind, happy, and responsible individuals. TLC gives young people the tools they need to overcome challenges like depression, suicide, anxiety, substance abuse, and school violence.
The proactive approach uses experiential learning, journal writing, open discussions, and other activities to guide teens in effectively coping with crisis, adopting healthy habits, and finding purpose.
The TLC program empowers teens by teaching life skills that build confidence, inspire compassion, and encourage them to pursue their dreams. Tilly’s Life Center currently hosts virtual and in-person programs in Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
Despite the circumstances of covid, a safe and fun day of golf was enjoyed by the brands TILLYS and Tilly’s Life Center.
