Tim Tebow impressed by Bryce Young's poise filming new Nissan Heisman House commercials

Tim Tebow appeared as a guest on "The Paul Finebaum Show" on Tuesday from the 2022 Southeastern Conference Media Days in Atlanta.

Bryce Young, the Alabama quarterback and 2021 Heisman Trophy winner, was one of the first topics that Tebow and Paul Finebaum discussed.

Finebaum asked Tebow what he remembers about coming to SEC Media Days. Tebow played quarterback at Florida from 2006-09, and he won the Heisman Trophy in 2007.

Tebow briefly talked about himself then transitioned to talking about Young.

"Bryce is so poised," Tebow said. "I was with him just this past week in Pasadena, California, for the Nissan Heisman House commercials, which are so much fun to film with him. We filmed several together. He's just so calm and poised and nothing flusters him. You'll say, 'Well that's silly, you're comparing him to a commercial.' But that's just who he is. It's just his presence around all these former winners and on camera and everything. It never changes. He is always so steady and so even and calm."

Tebow and Finebaum went on to other topics, but near the end of their conversation, Finebaum asked more about the Nissan Heisman House commercials.

"I would think, even you one of the most famous football players to ever play in college, are looking around and seeing guys and going — wow," Finebaum said. "Even though you know these guys."

"I love it," Tebow said. "It's so cool. I mean just think about it, Paul. You're just hanging out in a room, and it's Herschel and Bo and Danny and Spurrier and just so many of these amazing guys that you've grown up with. I wouldn't say starstruck, because we know each other well and hung out so many times. It's more of like — oh, remember that game. And then someone starts telling a story. And you're like, 'Dang, that's the craziest story I've ever heard. And that is what I think is really fun about it.

"And so many times people will say, 'Is the Heisman House actually real?' And no, it's not actually real. But what's kind of fun is in between commercials, we literally all sit there, and you will hear stories. And that is just so fun."

Steve Spurrier won the 1966 Heisman Trophy. Herschel Walker won the 1982 Heisman Trophy. Bo Jackson won the 1985 Heisman Trophy. Danny Wuerffel won the 1996 Heisman Trophy.
