Timberland Regional Library Requests Community Input for New Randle Library Building

May 18—The Timberland Regional Library (TRL) announced on Tuesday that the library system's staff is looking for community input regarding a new library building in Randle.

"All ideas are welcome; don't be afraid to dream big! Whether you're a long-time patron or have never been to the library, please tell us what you want!" said the library's statement.

Community members wishing to provide in-person input can do so at the Mountain View Timberland library as part of a "Community Conversation" on Wednesday, May 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The public will also be able to drop in and talk to library staff about the project on Saturday, June 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Mountain View Timberland Library is located at 210 Silverbrook Road in Randle.

At the two meetings, Mountain View Timberland Library Manager Judi Brummet will be joined by staff from TRL's public Public Experiences Department, which is responsible for overseeing "the many ways patrons interact with library spaces and staff both virtually and in person."

There will also be public notification of future opportunities to offer feedback.

"This valuable information will be used to design library spaces that best fulfill the needs and wishes of the community within the budget of the library district, staffing levels and time constraints ... We look forward to working together throughout the design process and can't wait to see what we can build together," said Timberland Regional Library Public Experiences Coordinator Kristen Hylton.

Provide input online by taking a survey at trl.org/locations/mountain-view or by emailing Hylton at khylton@TRL.org.
