What time is the KU football game? How to watch Kansas take on Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl
For the first time since 2008, the Jayhawks are going bowling.
Kansas earned a trip to the Liberty Bowl, where it will face the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Jayhawks (6-6, 3-6 in the Big 12) got off to a hot start this year, ripping off five straight wins and jumping into the national rankings. It hasn't been smooth sailing since then, but Kansas became bowl eligible with a 37-16 win against Oklahoma State on Nov. 5.
Currently, the Jayhawks enter the contest hoping to snap a three-game losing streak. Their last contest saw Leipold’s squad fall to in-state rival Kansas State 47-27.
Like Kansas, Arkansas is also looking to earn its seventh win of the season under head coach Sam Pittman. The Razorbacks have lost two of their last three contests, including a 29-27 setback against SEC foe Missouri.
Kansas and Arkansas last met in 1906. The Jayhawks defeated the Razorbacks 37-5 and currently hold a 2-0 lead in the series.
