What time is the KU football game? How to watch, stream Kansas vs. Iowa State

Can the Jayhawks start 5-0 for the first time since 2009?

Kansas football (4-0, 1-0 in the Big 12) hosts Iowa State (3-1, 0-1 in the Big 12) on Saturday in Lawrence. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and ESPN2 will carry the game.

KU's undefeated season continued on Sept. 24 when it took down then-unbeaten Duke 35-27. Jayhawks quarterback Jalon Daniels put together yet another electric performance in the home win, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns. Daniels ran for 89 yards and added a rushing touchdown, too.

Meanwhile, the Cyclones dropped their first conference game of the year on Sept. 24. No. 17 Baylor took down Iowa State 31-24 that day. Hunter Dekkers (1,029 yards, 10 touchdowns) has looked sharp in his first season as a starter. The Kansas secondary will need to keep an eye on wideout Xavier Hutchinson, who's one of the country's best receiving threats. Hutchinson has 36 catches for 403 yards and five touchdowns through four games.

Kansas owns a 50-45-6 series advantage over Iowa State, but it hasn't been close as of late. The Cyclones are winners of the last seven meetings, most recently winning 59-7 last season — the series' largest margin of victory.
