The Times-Reporter will switch to mail delivery in November

.

NEW PHILADELPHIA ― The Times-Reporter will begin delivering its print newspaper through the U.S. Postal Service beginning with the Nov. 6 edition. The Nov. 5 print edition will be the last delivered by newspaper carriers.

The switch to mail delivery is in response to the ongoing challenges that make delivery by traditional carrier increasingly difficult.

“In its 151-year history, the T-R has been committed to producing the best local news in Tuscarawas County, and that won't change," editor Pam James said. "We will continue to keep you up to date with what is happening with local government, stories that entertainment and educate our readers and features on local businesses and your neighbors."

Since the Postal Service does not deliver on Sundays, your normal Sunday publication will be printed on Friday and delivered with the U.S. mail on Saturday. The latest news and updates will continue to be available online at timesreporter.com.

We appreciate your understanding and adapting to the change. For some readers, this is an opportunity to read the eNewspaper more regularly. The electronic replica of the printed T-R is available early in the morning and is included with all subscriptions to the newspaper. It is accessible on your computer or mobile device and can be found at timesreporter.com/enewspaper.

As a T-R subscriber, you also enjoy free and full access to more than 200 eNewspapers in the USA Today Network, including the Columbus Dispatch, the Detroit Free Press, the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Akron Beacon Journal.

Subscribers also can register to receive a daily newsletter delivered by email each morning that provides news, sports and features highlights, with links that can take you directly to the articles.

There will be no reduction in the number of print editions. The T-R will continue to be published in print form Sunday through Friday, with an electronic eNewspaper on Saturday. There will be no change in subscription rates with the switch to mail delivery.

If you need assistance accessing the eNewspaper or please contact Customer Service at 1-330-580-8500.

We know it’s a change, but we hope your relationship with the T-R stays the same as we move forward together.
