Timing for rain ahead

WYFF News 4 meteorologist Sydney Sullivan says temperatures are gradually creeping back up near 90 degrees Tuesday, but this is right on track for where the area should be this time of year. However, showers return by midweek. On Wednesday, expect a few isolated morning showers, but the bulk of moisture moves in during the afternoon and evening. Although isolated, a strong to even severe storm cannot be ruled out Wednesday through the evening. The front stalls out across the Southeast, keeping a very unsettled weather pattern around through the end of the week. Thursday and Friday don’t appear to be a washout, but a few showers are expected. Temperatures will remain near normal to even below normal through the majority of this period.
