It’s a sweet surprise from Timothée Chalamet.

The actor shared a first-look photo showing him in his Willy Wonka costume for the upcoming prequel movie “Wonka.”

“WONKA,” Chalamet captioned the tweet Sunday, along with two star emojis and a chocolate bar icon.

Chalamet, 25, will portray a young version of the whimsical chocolate factory owner in “Wonka,” due out in 2023.

The film is being directed and co-written by Paul King, and also stars Keegan Michael-Key, Sally Hawkins and Olivia Colman.

Previous movies in the franchise have starred Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp as Wonka.

Before “Wonka,” audiences can see Chalamet in prominent roles in Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic “Dune” and in Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch,” which both debut Oct. 22.
