Country music's rising stars will take the stage in Nashville alongside their closest collaborators for the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.

The 31st annual event takes place from Tuesday, March 28 to Saturday, April 1, and will see hundreds of songsmiths performing across ten local venues, including the Bluebird Cafe, 3rd & Lindsley, City Winery, The Listening Room and Analog at Hutton Hotel.

The festival, produced by Nashville Songwriters Association International, is an occasion for the city's behind the scenes talents to shine. Often, it's the singers they work with who hold up the spotlight.

This year, Dylan Scott, Ingrid Andress, Chase Rice, Chris Young, Tenille Townes, Mitchell Tenpenny and Maddie & Tae will each hold their own "in-the-round" shows with their friends and co-writers.

Dylan Scott performs at Broadway in Nashville, Tenn., Thursday, July 4, 2019.

Other notable performers include Larry Gatlin, Madeline Edwards, recent "American Idol" runner-up HunterGirl, contemporary Christian star Brandon Heath, "Tennessee Orange" singer Megan Moroney, Kassi Ashton and MORGXN.

Also among the bills that caught our eye: a Tuesday night set at The Listening Room that sees hitmaker Nicolle Galyon joined by Christian country breakout Anne Wilson, Big Loud singer-songwriter Lauren Watkins and Kimberly Perry of country-turned-pop trio The Band Perry.

A Friday night showcase at 3rd & Lindsley featuring Monty Criswell, Brett James, Kelley Lovelace and Lee Thomas Miller, will donate proceeds to The Store, the non-profit grocery co-founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams Paisley.

Weeklong passes for the festival go on sale at 10 a.m. CT Friday — they're $175 for the general public, $145 for members of Nashville Songwriters Association International. Organizers say passes typically sell out "within 48 hours."

Tenille Townes performs for the 55TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS.

No worries if you're only interested in a single performance: There will be a cash line at the door for every Tin Pan show, but admission will be based on venue capacity, and is not guaranteed.
