Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, recently fell victim to a burglary attack at her home in Los. Angeles. According to reports from the police, thieves stole jewels and cash worth $1 million from the the 69-year-old. As law enforcement reportedly disclosed to TMZ, the criminals stole an entire safe containing the now-missing valuables. Someone who works for the superstar’s mother discovered the break-in and missing safe on Wednesday morning. Knowles-Lawson was reportedly out of her home when the incident occurred.

A Second Scare

This is unfortunately not the first time Knowles-Lawson has had to deal with a scary disturbance to her home this year. Back in April, TMZ reported that a man was arrested for causing a disturbance and damaging property at her home. The incidents have come in close succession. According to TMZ, the unnamed culprit threw rocks at her mailbox before running off. The man who was taken into custody after a foot pursuit has allegedly been placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

While there is no update on how someone gained entry into Knowles-Lawson’s home and was able to get away with the safe, the LAPD  has started an investigations into the incident. The LAPD will be looking at video surveillance and interviewing Knowles-Lawson’s neighbors in hopes of putting together some useful information and hopefully apprehending the culprit.

At this time, no information is available on possible suspects or leads. Knowles-Lawson herself has also not mentioned the incident on any of her social media accounts, particularly Instagram where she is most active. She often shares posts about her children and family. Her most recent post was a clip of Beyoncé wearing the army print outfit from her brand Ivy Park during the Renaissance World Tour.
