Tioga County Cat Project will ‘Neuter Your Ex’ for fundraising campaign

ELKLAND, Pa. (WETM) — If you want to get back at your ex, you can have them neutered in spirit for Valentine’s Day.

The Tioga County Cat Project is letting you “Neuter Your Ex” through the end of February. In exchange for a $20 donation, you can name a stray cat after one of your exes (or anyone who has wronged you), and the Tioga County Cat Project will have the cat spayed or neutered. As an added bonus, a picture of the freshly-named and neutered cat will be posted on social media for everyone to see.

Bring your recycling and help local cats in Tioga this year

The nonprofit invites people to name more than one cat or surprise a friend by naming a cat after their ex. Getting revenge on more people will help the Tioga County Cat Project help more cats through TNR (trap, neuter/spay, vaccinate, return).

If you would like to name a stray cat after your ex, visit the Tioga County Cat Project’s website. More donation opportunities and information about the nonprofit’s work can be found on the website as well.
