Tired of hearing about the Sioux Falls Burger Battle? Here are 7 burgers to eat — not downtown

·3 min read

We're more than two weeks into January, and that means we're halfway through the 2022 Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle.

The annual promotion is a competition between 27 downtown restaurants to find the best burger.

But not everyone can or wants to drive to downtown Sioux Falls every weekend to eat a burger (or two or six).

So, the Argus Leader has put together a list of seven burgers you should try in the Sioux Falls area this month.

Some of the burgers on this list are available for a limited amount of time, others are menu fixtures and others are part of their own burger competitions.

Here's our suggestions:

This handful of a burger is part of Look's Marketplace's second annual Burger Mania competition within the restaurant. Cooks prepared four specialty burgers and have them go head-to-head in a voting competition among customers during January.

The Hardy Boy features two smashed burger patties, pastrami, provolone cheese, slaw, shoestring fries and secret sauce all on a brioche bun.

The three other burgers in the competition include La Lucha Libre, The Undertaker and The Yolk Hogan. After trying the burgers, vote for your favorite online.
