Tired of standing in line to pay property taxes? Harrison County offers new way to pay.

Harrison County has added self-service kiosks in seven locations for paying real estate, personal property or mobile home taxes, plus paying delinquent taxes and car tag renewals.

The kiosks are being added to cut down on lines in the chancery clerk’s office, where delinquent taxes are paid, and in the county tax collectors office, where property taxes are paid.

Taxpayers can find the kiosks in the following locations:

  • County courthouse at 1801 23rd Ave., Gulfport, or 730 Dr. Martin Luther Kind Jr Blvd., Biloxi.

  • County tax collector’s satellite office, 14321 Dedeaux Rd, Gulfport.

  • Long Beach City Hall, 201 Jeff Davis Ave., Long Beach.

  • D’Iberville City Hall, 10383 Auto Mall Parkway, D’Iberville.

  • Orange Grove Public Library, 12135 Old Hwy 49, Orange Grove.

County officials hope the kiosks will eliminate long lines for paying taxes. The kiosks have been installed as the county prepares to collect real estate property taxes beginning Wednesday, Dec. 1. Taxes are considered delinquent after Feb. 1, with .5% interest added per month after that date.

Taxpayers also can pay property taxes online at http://www.deltacomputersystems.com or renew car tags online at https://harrison.ibcpayments.com, or mail in a check.

Residents will be charged a fee if they pay online or at one of the kiosks. The fee equals 2.25% of the tax bill being paid.

Harrison County Tax Collector Sharon Nash Barnett said the kiosks “are just another alternative to help the taxpayer.”
