Titans to make decision on Adoree’ Jackson’s Week 7 status on Saturday

The Tennessee Titans could potentially be getting back their No. 1 corner, Adoree’ Jackson, just in time for the Week 7 tilt with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the team won’t make the decision until Saturday.

Jackson, who has spent the entire season thus far on Injured Reserve with a knee injury, was designated to return from IR earlier this week and has practiced each of the past three days.

If the Titans are going to activate him for Week 7, they’ll have to do so by Saturday.

When speaking to the media after Friday’s practice, head coach Mike Vrabel said Jackson is still “working through some things” and that the team will see how he feels on Saturday before making a decision.

Getting Jackson back would be a huge lift for a Titans secondary that has struggled mightily this season. Tennessee’s defense is giving up 272.8 passing yards per contest this season, the fifth-most in the NFL.
