Titans open as road favorites over Commanders for Week 5

After a dreadful start to the season, the Tennessee Titans (2-2) are riding a two-game winning streak into their Week 5 matchup with the Washington Commanders (1-3).

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the over/under is set at 42.5, and the Titans are currently 2.5-point favorites over the Commanders.

Similarly to their win-loss record, Tennessee possesses a 2-2 record against the spread and have hit the the over in two of four games (50 percent).

On the other sideline, Washington has hit the over in two of four games (50 percent) and are 1-3 (33.3 percent) against the spread.

Tennessee will be aiming to secure its third straight victory right before the team gets some much-needed rest during a Week 6 bye.

This is the Titans’ first meeting against Washington since it underwent the rebrand into the Commanders. Prior to that, Tennessee/Houston led the all-time series over Washington, 7-6, with their last meeting coming in 2018 when the Titans won, 25-16.

The Commanders will get their chance to even up the series record by the end of the weekend.
