With the New Title for Ghostbusters Three, Here’s a Friendly Reminder Where Else You’ve Seen the Jumpsuit

Ghostbusters three has been in the works for quite some time with figuring out new characters, reprising famous ones and when it will take place. On November 11th, it was announced the title for the film would possibly be ‘Ghostbuster: Afterlife’.

Over the past couple of years, the production of the film has gone under much revision. Since the premiere of the second film in 1989, Ghostbusters II, the production of the next film has been tossed around quite a bit.

Murray originally was disinterested in participating in the second installment of the franchise and had passed on reprising his role in the third film. Later on February 24th, 2014 with the passing of Harold Ramis who played Egon Spengler. The film was again backtracked.

This time the plot is a passing of the torch between the new younger team and the older team from the original franchise. Jason Reitman would use a screenplay written by his father and Gil Kenan.

The new film is to premiere in July of 2020 will the story line taking place after the second original film in the franchise. The film will disregard the 2016 reboot film starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.

The iconic actors who brought the beloved ‘Ghostbusters’ films to life are back with Bill Murray (Peter), Dan Aykroyd (Raymond), Ernie Hudson (Winston), Sigourney Weaver (Dana), and Annie Potts (Janine). Although the team will be missing a valuable member, Aykroyd says the new film will pay tribute to Ramis and his character Egon.

A look at the actors depicts them ditching the jumpsuits for some very tasteful beige trench coats. The new family team in town would include Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd.

New York City is not the only time you have seen the famous ugly beige jumpsuit make an appearance to fight ghosts.

A fan on Twitter made the discovery that many of us have probably missed. Ray Stanz makes an appearance in full Ghostbuster gear in the 1995 film ‘Casper’. This time he has facial adornment in the form of a mustache.

It seems like Casper’s uncles are too much to handle even for the Ghostbusters, who once saved Manhattan from the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man.

Fans of the original franchise are thrilled to see the famous power packs back in action and who better to call when ghosts invade but the "Ghostbusters!"
