Titletown South Florida: Spring football tour continues, should reigning champs worry?

It’s no secret that South Florida football powerhouses like Miami Central and St. Thomas Aquinas will reload year-to-year.

But are teams like Davie Western finally ready to take that next step and upend the status quo?

We spoke to players and coaches at all three contending teams as they moved into their second week of spring practices.

Deputy Sports Editor Andre Fernandez and Sportswriter David Wilson dive into each squad’s roster as it stands three months away from the 2023 football season and look at what challenges each is likely to face on the potential road to a state title.
