Tituss Burgess is losing to win — and that’s a good thing.

The five-time Emmy Award-nominated actor and singer is opening up about his weight loss transformation and plastic surgery.

During a candid interview on SiriusXM Pandora’s “Bevelations” Thursday, the stage and screen star went on record about his battle of the bulge, which has resulted in a slimmer physique.

“Honestly, before I was about to have it, and shortly after I had it, I didn’t know if I was going to speak on it at all,” Burgess said of a procedure, which he did not specifically identify.

“But then I began to notice the dramatic difference and I know that I had been chronicling my journey with weight on Instagram [with] workout videos and all these things,” he shared. “I thought this would be dishonest if I were not to come forward and say to all these people who look at me as a source of inspiration or holding oneself accountable, or however you want to call it.”

The “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” scene-stealer previously said he had “some nip-tuck” and “a few arrangements” when it came to his new look, which he unveiled through snapshots on Instagram ahead of the Emmy Awards.

Burgess, 41, posted a pair of photos of himself in a red tracksuit, as well as a video in which he shared that he had some work done over the last few months.

It’s a notable difference from his appearance during the 2013 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit where he belted out Jennifer Holliday’s classic “Dreamgirls” torch anthem “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.”

He conveyed to Smith that he didn’t want people to think he did “all of this work and gotten to where I’ve gotten on my own and it just isn’t so" and even offered up his doctor’s number.

“One of the things that I did mandate and hold myself accountable to is I worked out in the months leading up to it and there was so much excess skin and things that just were not going to move no matter what I did,” the powerhouse vocalist confessed.

“I said, ‘I’m done. I got to give myself this gift,’” he added. “And I want to have a different conversation with myself in the morning when I wake up and look in the mirror and you know, when I’m working out and as much as I’m trying to be positive, I’m like, ‘this isn’t going anywhere.’ So I got rid of it and I look amazing.”

The Athens, Ga., native, whose next role is starring as the Rev. James Cleveland in the Aretha Franklin biopic “Respect,” is set to be honored at the annual Broadway Dreams Foundation Gala on Dec. 5.
