TLC Community Credit Union, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit host benefit for Dundee first responders

DUNDEE — TLC Community Credit Union and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit hosted a barbecue dinner to benefit Dundee police, firefighters and paramedics.

The event took place Aug. 27 in Dundee. The event featured emergency vehicles from the Dundee Township Fire Department, Dundee Police Department and Monroe Community Ambulance of Dundee along with bounce houses, face painting and music.

People were able to purchase tickets for a meal from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. For every ticket sold, TLC donated an additional $5. Leftover meals were donated to the Dundee Area Senior Center and to the residents at Hampton Manor of Dundee.
