Toasted Yolk Lubbock announces grand opening celebration, discounts

The wait is finally over for Lubbock's newest brunch spot - The Toasted Yolk Cafe, and the restaurant plans to celebrate with an opportunity to win free food for a year.

On Monday, Nov. 7, the cafe at 6807 Milwaukee Ave. will officially open its doors for everyone to try their signature boozy breakfasts, brunches and lunches. Mark Murray, owner and Texas Tech graduate, said he is excited about the grand opening.

"Having started in Houston, we’re Texas through and through, and we’re excited to be strengthening our roots,” Murray said. "We can’t wait for our guests in Lubbock to experience our delicious food, detailed service and welcoming atmosphere."

As part of the grand opening, customers can get 50% off mimosas and free Churro Donuts. There will be a raffle where three people will win free Toasted Yolk for a year. The cafe will also donate 10% of sales to Buckner International, an organization that helps children, families and seniors.

The cafe will continue to give back to those who serve their community all year long with 15% off for first responders and 10% off for teachers. From 7-10 a.m. Monday-Thursday, healthcare workers can get 50% off drinks during A Scrub Love happy hour.
