Toby Keith to headline concert schedule at 2022 York State Fair

Two-time entertainer of the year, Toby Keith, is coming to central Pa. next year.

Keith, along with fellow country music singer Tracy Byrd, will appear at the York State Fair at 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, it was announced Monday morning.

Tickets ranging from $50 to $68 go on sale at 9 a.m. Dec. 7. They can be purchased by calling 717-848-2596 or visiting www.yorkstatefair.com.

This is the fourth concert announced for the 2022 York State Fair, which runs from July 22 to 31.

Sam Hunt, with special guest Roman Alexander, will kick off the shows on the Bobcat of York Grandstand Stage on Friday, July 22. For King & Country, with special guest Zach Williams, will perform on Sunday, July 24 and Triple Play Tuesday (July 26) will feature Lita Ford with Vixen and Autograph.

Keith was named the Academy of Country Music Awards entertainer of the year in 2002 and 2003, when he was also named top male vocalist. He has had 20 songs reach No. 1, including "Should've Been a Cowboy," "How Do You Like Me Now?" "I Wanna Talk About Me" and "Beer For My Horses."

Tracy Byrd has had two No. 1 singles in a career that started in 1993 – "Holdin' Heaven" and "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo."
