Today is Kids Day at the Monroe County Fair.

Children, school age up to age 17, will be admitted free until 5 p.m.

Today also is Sensory-Friendly Day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. People with autism, sensory processing disorder or neurodiversity can register at the Relaxation and Regulation Station for a "fast pass to ride" wristband, which will allow them to jump to the head of the line. The station is located near the Little Brown Bear House and also will have information about autism and other disorders.

Fair gates are open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children age 5 and under with an adult.

The midway opens at 1 p.m. An unlimited ride special will be offered. A wristband can be purchased for $30 a person and is good until 10 p.m. Individual ride tickets also are available.

Little Smokey train rides will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Among today's attractions are the Demolition Derby at 6 and 9 p.m. and the Kiddie Tractor Pull at 9 a.m.

The Flying Wallenda's will have shows at 1, 4 and 7:30 p.m.

Sunday's attendance at the Fair was 21,528. Sunday's grandstand attendance was 3,000.
