Have you ever wanted to see Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager film the Today show live? Well, now you can for a limited time, thanks to an announcement the TV personalities recently dropped on Instagram.
In a new video shared to the platform, the duo delivered exciting news to their fans. Beginning November 14, the Live With Hoda and Jenna co-hosts will film their fourth-hour segment in front of a live studio audience for one week only. But they won't be the only ones talking to the viewers. Both Hoda and Jenna confirmed there would be a series of celebrities joining them for interviews, with a few surprises along the way.
"Drum roll, please... 🥁 We’re headed back to Studio 6A and bringing a live studio audience!" the show's official Instagram account wrote on November 7. "Our guests next week include @michelleobama, @jessicabiel, @kellyrowland and more! Plus a few special surprises 🌟."
When the news of Hoda and Jenna's announcement began swirling on the internet, folks couldn't contain their excitement on social media.
"Just entered! Crossing all my fingers and toes 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," one fan wrote in the Instagram comments section. "[Man] I wish I lived close, or better yet, [in] NY so I could see y’all live!!!! ❤️," another person lamented. "Oh I would love to be in the audience," a different follower added.
As much as TV-goers couldn't believe the major news, Hoda and Jenna were equally as ecstatic by it. What's more, during the big reveal they noted how thrilled they were to get back to filming in front of real-life fans, instead of just talking straight into a camera.
"The thing we love most about this is, that means you get to come to see us, because we miss it," Hoda said in the short clip, to which Jenna agreed. "We miss y'all! Don't you feel like everybody wants connection? ... People are going to concerts and shows. So guess what? Come hang with us because we have some great guests."
Guess this means we need to book a flight to New York City as soon as possible, because if this doesn't have folks waiting in anticipation, we don't know what will.
