Vaccine mandate actions

Our esteemed governor is being short sighted in his mandate actions. He doesn't want people to be put out of work because of the vaccine mandate, but what will happen when businesses are fined $50,000 for each violation? Some will close or go out of business, and then guess what? Those same employees will be out of a job. We are all tired of this pandemic, so I don't understand why we can't all come together and do what's right to put it in the past. Get vaccinated if you haven't already.

Send them back

Every day in Biden's America is a different shocking surprise. All the news is Biden giving the illegal immigrants who came over during President Trump's time — who are trespassing and damaging properties — $450,000 each. These immigrants have the nerve to complain. Send them back; we don't want them here. They are given free health care, which many Americans cannot afford. They get food stamps and housing. Most cannot speak our language, which is English. This is America — English, please!

We have Americans and many veterans who cannot afford to pay for health care or cannot afford medications. Americans paid into Social Security, and we are told that Social Security will be depleted by 2034, yet Biden will give $450,000 to these illegal immigrants who do not deserve it. With all of the spending Biden is doing, he is bankrupting our country. Yes, he is making the once greatest country in the world a third-world country, but he won't be around long enough to see the damage and, with all his illegal dealings, he has more money than God.

Now we have another caravan on the way violently pushing their way past security. Thanks to Biden, our border is not secure. Texas has called in the National Guard trying to protect their homes and properties. If they force their way through, use the fire hose on them. "Inhumane,” you may say, but with no border wall they march in like animals. Again, send them back. This cannot go on.

This isn’t the way

As long as there are two systems of justice in America, there is no justice in America. I watch in horror as our country becomes more like Iran and North Korea every day. I watch radicalized Americans talk eagerly about buying up all the guns they can for a civil war they can’t wait for, and as other states follow suit, the state of Texas is starting to hire vigilantes to enforce social policies where the Constitution disallows state action.

America is going one of two ways; the “citizens shooting each other in the streets” way won today. There is no future down that road.

Our country is called to be better, to stand higher than that.

Elected Republicans rant all day about the “woke mob,” but they stand clearly, consistently and firmly behind their own mob. “Fine people” marching for the extermination of minorities at alt-right rallies, vigilantes crossing state lines to shoot other Americans dead in broad daylight. Radicals who tried to wipe out Congress when Donald Trump lost the 2020 election by a landslide and their feelings were hurt.

Hold them accountable. It’s time Florida and America had better leaders.

If you’re one of my everyday American conservative neighbors out there, I know I’m making you mad. But I hope I’m also making you think. This way we’re going, it isn’t the way.
