This is the adorable moment a toddler was filmed belting out a classic song at a restaurant after telling her mom not to be shy.

La’Tekia Magazine filmed her daughter performing a passionate rendition of Aretha Franklin’s 1967 hit Respect at a Florence, South Carolina, branch of LongHorn Steakhouse. She captioned the video on her YouTube channel Zara Bug, “My three-year-old thought the music in LongHorn was too boring.”

“We like to listen to classic music at home, and my daughter absolutely loves to sing, so we had been singing this particular song to participate in a talent show together and she wanted to practice while we were eating,” La’Tekia told Storyful.

She added: “I told her, ‘No, we would practice at home.’ She said, ‘Mom, don’t be shy; just sing it like this’, and she burst into song. Lol.” Credit: YouTube/zarabug3348 via Storyful
