- Out of tragedy comes some triumph today, after being born 23 weeks premature and losing her twin brother after birth. A Poughkeepsie toddler is heading home. 13-month-old Ada left Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla today. She weighed just over a pound when she was born in February of 2020. After intensive therapy, Ada is now able to breathe, move, and learn all on her own.

LAURENA MESNARD: Every time I saw a baby go home for the past 13 and 1/2 months, I would always whisper to Ada, it's going to be her turn someday. You're going to go home too. And today I finally got to say that to her.

- Ada lost her twin brother Weston just hours after birth. The family has received nearly 100 cards from community members across Dutchess County. You get the feeling they're going to get even more cards now that we're telling everybody. It's pretty precious.
