This TikTok parent shared the hilarious moment her toddler decided to take some “self care” time by lying in a mud puddle!
Haleigh Ellis (@pypersnyper) is a mom and TikToker who shares funny and adorable videos of her kids. In a recent video, Haleigh shared the moment that her toddler son, Oliver, decided to take a moment to relax by lying down in a mud puddle! The funny video racked up more than 7 million views and had TikTokers cracking up!

The video starts with a shot of Oliver wearing khaki shorts and a blue t-shirt. The toddler is already covered from head to toe in mud, and stands in front of a wire gate. He looks up at his mom and raises a finger to his lips, shushing her.
“What?” Haleigh asks in confusion, as the toddler stares up at her intently. “Where are you going?”
“Shh,” Oliver responds, giving his mom a mischievous look. “I’ll be right back.”
“Where are you going?” Haleigh asks again, this time a little frantically.
Oliver turns away from his mom and pushes the gate in front of him open. Then, with a grin on his face, the toddler closes the gate, preventing his mom from following him. He walks across a patch of muddy grass until he finds his target destination: A large mud puddle.

The toddler then turns back around to face his mom for a moment. He looks up, then slowly sits down in the puddle. Haleigh begins to laugh as the toddler lies down in the puddle.
The video ends as the toddler lets out a giant sigh. He looks totally relaxed and at peace, taking a moment to himself in the refreshing mud puddle water. A caption on the video explains, “My man needed some self care time and didn’t want questions asked.”
Viewers couldn’t get enough of the goofy toddler and his love of mud puddles!
“It’s so wonderful to see a child being a child and a mom letting him,” wrote one TikToker.
“Every adult needs to do this until they relax, too!” another viewer commented.
“Adults will pay $100 an hour for this at the spa,” joked another TikToker.
One thing’s for sure: Oliver certainly knows how to relax!
