Todos Santos Plaza, A 'Great Place': Concord Photos Of The Day

Maggie Fusek

CONCORD, CA — Patch reader Brian Simoneschi sent in two photos he recently took in downtown Concord. One was taken Monday of an empty — but very green!— Todos Santos Plaza; the other was taken during the evening when trees with sparkling lights make it a more festive place to be.

Did you know the plaza was honored in 2018 as one of three "Great Places In California" by the American Planning Association?

Although the city has cancelled this year's popular summer concert series, Music & Market and Tuesday Night Blues, to do its part in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, let's hope we are all back in the plaza this time next year, enjoying our summer nights.

Thank you, Brian, for sharing these with Patch readers and reminding us what a great place it is!

It's Your Shot: Pictures You Take and We Share

Have you got the next incredible photo? If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch, we'd love to feature it on Patch. We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty that is the East Bay, and that show off your unique talents.

So, bring 'em on. No selfies. Not here.

Send your photos to autumn.johnson@patch.com and we'll post the feature on an occasional basis. Or — post it to the Neighbor Posts section of your local Patch and we'll feature it up top. Be sure to also include when and where the shot was taken and any other details about what was going on.
