A Democratic Senator from New Jersey who ran for president in 2020, Senator Cory Booker is extremely active on social media, which has apparently translated over to him using TikTok. The traditionally Gen-Z and Millennial platform has seen increased use by politicians, especially campaigning politicians, as a way to reach a younger audience. Senator Booker was first elected to the Senate in 2012 and since then, he has absolutely made his mark on Congress. And apparently TikTok. He appears to be a big fan of inspirational storytelling and loves to joke around. Before Senator Cory Booker made his way to the federal stage, he was the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey from 2006 to 2012. In fact, Senator Booker was offered a spot in the Obama Administration in the White House Office of Urban Affairs in 2009, but he turned it down to continue to be the mayor of Newark.
