Toledo and Moore win Rio Pro surfing

STORY: On home soil at Saquarema, a beach town about 62 miles east of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Toledo scored a perfect 10 against fellow Brazilian Samuel Pupo to claim his fourth Rio Pro title. With the win he stays top of the world championship tour rankings.

Moore was trailing France's Johanne Defay until late in the women's final, but she managed to score a 9.5 out of 10 at the last minute to take the victory and stay first in the world championship tour rankings.

This result guarantees Moore and Toledo one of the five places for the end of season finals event at Lower Trestles in Southern California in September.

The next round of the WSL championship, which will be the second to last round, will be held at Jeffreys Bay in South Africa in July.
