On his bye week, between family time and missing fall in New England, Tom Brady still found time to catch some NFL action.

That included some soft scouting of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' next opponent, the Chicago Bears. And, yes, Brady saw Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' touchdown run and subsequent taunt of the Soldier Field faithful in which he claimed ownership over them.

"Actually, before we get started, I guess I wanted to say congrats to Aaron Rodgers," Brady said on his weekly half-hour show "Let's Go!" on Sirius XM NFL Radio. "Obviously, I know he's a great quarterback, but I guess he's now a shareholder of the Bears. ... That's really great stuff."

Brady said he's happy to own "a few lucky autographs" and said he'd happily take ownership of the color green instead of the New York Jets.

"I think that's a little bit better," he said.
