Tom Brady tweets response to persistent Miami Dolphins rumor

Tom Brady doesn't have time for this.

No, Brady said Tuesday he doesn't have time to un-retire.

Again.

Rich Eisen of the NFL Network came back from the NFL Scouting Combine and said he was told to continue to monitor Brady to the Dolphins.

"Tom Brady may not be done after all," Eisen said. "A couple of people said hold on, just you wait... Let it play out... The one place folks are saying keep an eye out for is Miami. If the Dolphins somehow, some way get a doctor's report or piece of information that Tua may not be ready to go, there is Tom Brady sitting in Florida.... Keep an eye on that, I was told by a couple of birdies."

Tom Brady is a legend. But he's forty-five years old.

Forty-five!

Groundhog Day? Tom Brady posts a final good bye: 'I'm retiring. For good.'

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, a Michigan man, has clearly long admired Brady, a Michigan man.

And in part because the Fins tampered with Brady, they don't have a first-round pick in the next NFL Draft.

Most teams penalized for tampering at least get the player.

Do the Dolphins still want Tom Brady?

But people around the Dolphins have suggested to The Post that ship has sailed.

No, do not insert a Tom Brady yacht joke here. We would never do that.

As for Brady, he tweeted: "Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter."

That's not a hard no, Brady conspiracists will note.

Healthy Tua Tagovailoa best bet

Everyone knows the best solution for Miami is a healthy Tua Tagovailoa.

Tua just led the NFL in passer rating.

And he's 25 years old. Happy Birthday, Tua!

(It was March 2).

What would Tua love most for his birthday, probably?

An end to any of the Brady-Rodgers-Lamar speculation and a - yet another? - public commitment.

And yes, of course he'd like a fifth-year option pickup.
