When the Bengals travel to Tampa Bay to play Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on Sunday, it will be the ninth time Cincinnati has faced the legendry quarterback, although the first time in a Bucs uniform.

So how did the previous eight time turn out? Not so good for the men in stripes.

In Brady’s first ever game against the Bengals he went 18-for-26 for 260 yards and threw two touchdown passes.

The biggest storyline from the game, however, was former Cincinnati running back Corey Dillon facing off against his former team for the first time. Dillon ran for 88 yards and a touchdown.

"I approached it like I approach every other game," Dillon said afterwards. "I'm sure everyone is sitting here expecting me to say something wild and negative about Cincinnati, but it's not going to happen."

Brady went 15-for-26 for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing an interception.

It was the run game that was key to the Patriots' win this time. The team totaled 236 rushing yards, including 125 yards and two touchdowns by Laurence Maroney and 67 yards and a touchdown by Dillon.

"If you don't do the fundamentals of what it takes to win – be it tackling, blocking – you're not going to beat a good team," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said after the game.

Exactly one year to the date of the previous game, only this time on Monday Night Football, Brady went 25-for-32 for 231 yards and three touchdowns, along with an interception.

The Bengals set a franchise attendance record with 66,113 fans at the game, but Brady and Randy Moss – who caught nine passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns – were just too much.

"If you don't want to be on the team, don't show up art 4 o'clock," Lewis yelled at his team after the game.

After a three-year break, Brady and the Pats beat the Bengals again, this time in the season opener.

Brady was 25-for-25 for 258 yards and three touchdowns.

"They executed flawlessly and we didn't execute very well," Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer said after the game. "We couldn't get close to the quarterback. We played tentative. We didn't cover good, we didn't tackle good. We didn't do much."

The Bengals finally got their win against Brady, and he had his worst game vs. Cincinnati. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes, going 18-for-38 for 197 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. The defense was able to get to him, too – sacking him four times.

It ended a streak of 52-straight games with a touchdown for Brady.

"I'm bummed that we lost," Brady said after the game. "I think that's all that really matters."

Brady called the loss "a poor performance all-around."

Unfortunately for the Bengals, they caught Tom Brady in his first home game back from a four-game suspension as part of 'Deflategate'.

Brady had his best game against the Bengals. He competed 82.9 percent of his passes (29-for-35) for 376 yards and three touchdowns.

"My summation is that it's disappointing that we've got a lot of things going right and doing things good and correct and not finishing things," Lewis said after the game. "We continue to be our own Achilles' heel way too often."

He might not have played great, but Brady and the Patriots came away with another win. Brady finished 15-for-29 for 128 yards and tossed two touchdown passes.

"That's a loss our team's got to remember," Bengals first-year coach Zac Taylor said after the game. "A lot of guys probably feel like 'I had a winning performance.' That's not what it's about. It's about everybody doing their job on every play."
