Tommy Lee was on ‘motherf**king bender’ during full-frontal photo drama as he laughs off breaking the internet
Tommy Lee has laughed off his recent full-frontal photo controversy as he admitted he was on a “motherf***ing bender” at the time.
The 59-year-old Mötley Crüe star posted an explicit photo of himself completely naked on Instagram earlier this month, to the shock of followers.
After five hours, the social-media platform removed the viral full-frontal photo - though the image still remains on Tommy’s Twitter page.
Tommy, who was previously married to Pamela Anderson, spoke about breaking the internet following his photo as he appeared onstage with his band at a gig in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday night.
The rocker was seen in a clip shared online telling the screaming audience: “A couple of weeks ago, we had a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherf***ing bender, bro.
“I got f***ing sideways as f*** and got naked and posted pictures of my d***.
“Usually, I mean I’m a t***y man, so I like to see t*****s, but tonight is equal-opportunity night.”
Tommy then urged the crowd to follow his actions, in his signature reckless style.
He encouraged: “Tonight, I wanna see everyone’s d***. C’mon, boys, pull your s**t out. Pull your f***ing junk out. Let’s go.”
Tommy called on one crowd member in particular to expose himself, as he said: “show the whole world that motherf***ing hot dog…”, before the man appeared to be stopped by his wife.
Tommy jokingly responded: “The wife says no? Divorce”, as he continued the set.
The full-frontal photo of the musician showed him naked resting above a bathtub. It was later removed by Instagram following the social-media platform’s ‘no nudity’ policy.
Tommy received quite the surprised response from fans – and his own wife – after posting the explicit image.
Internet personality Brittany Furlan, whom he married in 2019, wrote: “OH MY GOD”.
“How long will this stay up,” asked one follower, as another said: “Everyone’s acting surprised as if he isn’t Tommy Lee.”
