The housing market can be quite unpredictable; you never know what will happen. Regardless of how much you’re spending on a home, the goal is to always make a profit on it, and that’s exactly what this music industry couple did.
Mexican singer Thalía and her husband, music producer Tommy Mottola, bought a four-bedroom condo at the Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club in Surfside, Florida, less than a year ago, and in that short period of time, the duo was able to generate a hefty return on their investment. They purchased the property for $8 million, but it sold for $10.4 million.
The pair has proven that they have a knack for picking out real estate. There’s no forgetting their former Georgian-style Greenwich, Connecticut, estate, which sold for a whopping $14.875 in March 2017.
Perhaps it’s their attention to detail that propels their selling capabilities. Mottola spent three years designing and building the home in Connecticut to his exact aesthetic. “It’s the little things that matter,” he previously told Architectural Digest, “whether that’s the imaging or the mixing or the right lyrics, even changing a single line to make a song better.”
No matter what tricks they have up their sleeve, it’s certainly working. With summer right around the corner, we wonder what kind of warm-weather residence these two will make money off next.
