Sunday Is Your Chance to Ask a Pro Designer All Your Decorating Q's (For Free!)

If you've been debating hiring an interior designer but keep chickening out—and you find yourself near New York City—we suggest you make your way to the first floor of Saks Fifth Avenue this weekend. Homepolish, the online service that matches you with an interior designer, is going brick-and-mortar with a pop-up at the department store until June 6. For one week, Place by Homepolish x Saks Fifth Avenue will host design discussions (learn more here and here) and appearances by various Homepolish-approved artisans; plus the super chic space is generally fun to roam around. But this Sunday is the day you really want to stop by; Homepolish is hosting what its calling a Designer Genius Bar from 11am to 6pm.

Here's the deal: Anyone can meet with a top Homepolish designer and ask them whatever they want about hiring a decorator, choosing a paint color, laying out a living room, measuring for curtains . . . you get the idea. Then, if you're feeling it, you can book a more intensive interior design consultation through Homepolish right then and there. It doesn't get easier than that. This could be the day you finally do the damn the thing and hire some professional help to make that neglected room (you know the one) a space you actually want to spend time in. We believe in you.
