Tonawanda lifts overnight winter parking ban

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Town of Tonawanda has lifted its overnight winter parking ban, the town announced Tuesday.

The town said it is being lifted due to favorable weather conditions over the next two weeks. It is effective immediately.

The ban, which began in December, prohibited overnight street parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The ban was originally supposed to be in place until mid-March.
