Good morning! Erin Glynn here.

Back in 2021, I was following the Lakota school board race when two candidates who campaigned together joined the school board together as brand new members.

The relationship between the two, Isaac Adi and Darbi Boddy, is decidedly less friendly now, as evidenced by the restraining order Adi has against Boddy.

Adi wrote in court documents about Boddy’s “aggressive and threatening behavior,” which he said involved berating him at school board meetings and at a conservative Reclaim Your School Board conference the district paid for them to attend.

After a bit of back-and-forth, the court decided Boddy can attend the meeting tonight, as long as she does not communicate with Adi more than necessary and avoids him after the meeting.

For more on the incidents that convinced the court to grant Adi a protection order, read my story here. And be sure to follow along with me on Twitter/X, @ee_glynn, and at Cincinnati.com for details on what happens at the meeting.
