Tony Bennett, the Grammy Award-winning singer, became the oldest person to release an album of new material, according to a press release by Guinness World Records.

Bennett unveiled his new work, Love for Sale, on Oct. 1 at the age of 95 years and 60 days, the release said.

The album sees the musical sensation partner with Lady Gaga, who said she values her intergenerational friendship with Bennett, according to the release.

"I see a young boy every time I sing with him, and it just makes the experience of singing so freeing," Gaga said. "To have it be about two souls singing together … and then at the same time, I also take in all his wisdom. The wisdom of all his years."

This project arrives a decade after Bennett and Gaga first came together to release their 2011 single, "Lady is a Tramp," according to the release.

Love for Sale was released in cooperation with Columbia Records/Interscope and is the latest of Bennett's over 70-year career, the release said.
