Too early for pumpkin spice? Dunkin’ says no. It’s rolling out its seasonal menu soon

Pumpkin spice may be synonymous with fall, but this year, you won’t have to wait until the leaves start changing to enjoy the seasonal favorite.

Dunkin’ announced Wednesday that its fall menu — which includes a Pumpkin Spice Latte and other pumpkin-flavored drinks and goodies — will be available at doughnut shops across the country starting Aug. 19.

“This is one of the most anticipated times of the year for Dunkin’ guests, and we’re excited to make pumpkin favorites available at Dunkin’ restaurants earlier than ever,” Jill Nelson, vice president of marketing strategy, said in a news release.

The menu features an elevated version of an old favorite: Dunkin’s Signature Pumpkin Spice Latte, which will be available cold or iced and topped with whipped cream, caramel and a cinnamon sugar topping.

Pumpkin fans will also be glad to know that Dunkin’ is offering pumpkin-flavored doughnuts, doughnut holes and muffins along with pumpkin-flavored coffee as part of its autumn menu.

For tea drinkers, Dunkin’ has also added a Chai Latte to the lineup.

If pumpkin isn’t quite your thing, Dunkin’ is offering other fall flavors such as apple cider doughnuts and doughnut holes as well as a Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich.

But like autumn itself, Dunkin’s seasonal menu will only be around for a limited time.

Starbucks, another purveyor of pumpkin spice drinks and goodies, hasn’t said when it will release its autumn menu, but did announce earlier this month that the Pumpkin Spice Latte would return for 2020.
