Go before it's too late. Here's when Spirit Halloween stores close for the season
Need a last minute Halloween costume? Or maybe you want to shop after the holiday for a deal on next year's costume.
There's likely a Spirit Halloween store near you.
With over 1,500 stores across the United States, Spirit Halloween is the largest Halloween retailer in North America. The pop-up stores have become iconic fixtures haunting vacant malls and empty retail storefronts each fall, selling costumes and accessories – including for many licensed characters from Barbie to Beetlejuice – plus both indoor and outdoor decorations.

Spirit Halloween has three dozen locations throughout Ohio.
When do Spirit Halloween stores close in Ohio?
Each of the 36 Spirit Halloween locations scattered throughout the state expects to close on Thursday, Nov. 2, according to the company website.
Most of the stores will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through that date, except on Nov. 2 when the stores open at 9 a.m. You can find your nearest location on the company website.
If you head in after Halloween, you just might find a steep discount on costumes and decorations for next year or even one of the spooky animatronic displays that decorate the stores.
