Here are the top 10 deadliest highways in the U.S.

Three of the most dangerous highways in America run through Georgia, according to a new report.

The Zebra car insurance company analyzed the most recent Fatality Analysis Reporting System data to assess which roads, counties and states have the most risk for drivers based on the number of fatal car crashes.

The data dates back to 2019, as the National Highway Transportation Safety Agency has not released full data for 2020 and 2021.

The rankings are based on the number of traffic fatalities and the fatalities per every 100 miles.

Three of those dangerous highways, including the two most dangerous in the country, run through Georgia.

Coming in on top is I-95, which runs up and down the eastern seaboard and along Georgia’s coast. In 2019, 284 people were killed in crashes on the highway.

The second most-dangerous is no surprise to anyone who has ever driven through Atlanta and cuts through the heart of the city. Interstate-20 runs from Texas to South Carolina and reported 208 traffic fatalities in 2019.

In fourth place is I-75, which runs from the top of Michigan to the tip of Florida and straight through metro Atlanta. There were 237 fatalities on I-75 in 2019.
