Not entirely new, having formed in 2009. Although, having recruited new drummer Llys Parri in 2012. This band hailing from the hills of Wales, produce mindbending surf music. An entirely instrumental outfit inspired by 60′s garage. Y Niwl are completely reminiscent of The Shadows, claimed to be Maggie Thatcher’s favourite band. The same instrumental aspect, with a contemporary twist.
